Our sandy beach under the palm trees in Sausalito is the ideal starting point for your kayaking or stand up paddleboard experience. Sea Trek's helpful staff will bring your boat or board to the waters edge and happily provide personalized paddling instructions for first timers or a refresher if you need it. We will point out the best areas to explore and make sure you are comfortable before setting off on your adventure. We love getting parents on the water with their children.

We include a high quality wet suit if you want one and/or waterproof pants and a paddling jacket plus a well fitted lifejacket. It is best to wear shorts and shoes or sandals you don't mind getting wet.

We have a large fleet of single and double Sit on Top Kayaks manufactured by Ocean Kayak. Our rental fleet of single traditonal kayaks include a full line of fiberglass and rotomoulded boats manufactured by Necky and Valley kayaks. Our doubles are all fiberglass Northwest Seascapes and Necky Amaruks.

Our Standup Paddleboards are manufactured by SURFTECH. The models include Randy French, Bark Expedition, and Laird Coastrunner. Our SUP paddles are lightweight adjustable Werners.

We're open all year, 7 days a week 9am-5pm, weather permitting. You are welcome to call us for a weather check. During the week no reservations are necessary, it is best to reserve on the weekend but we can generally accomodate walk-ins also.

Sit-on-top Kayaks - No experience necessary. Singles and Doubles
You don't need any experience to get started with sit-on-top kayaks. These boats are a fun option for a paddle among the pelicans and houseboats. Self-bailing and very user- friendly: you sit "on-top" rather than inside these boats.
Traditional Sea Kayaks - Intro. Class required. Singles and Doubles
We invite experienced paddlers to enjoy our fleet of sleek, closed deck single and double kayaks. To rent a 2-person kayak, we require that one of the paddlers has taken an introductory class.
